Our History & Values
Deliver the Captives Church was founded in 2011, by Pastor Samy Koli to serve the only living God and proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in deliverance for a simple reason; Christ taught us to do so. I strongly believe that to be "Saved" is to be assured of a place in Heaven but to be "delivered" is to have liberty and freedom from the oppression and bondage that the enemy exerts on us even as Christians.
In Christ's own words in the·synagogue·at Nazareth; "The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."·Luke 4:18
Again in Christ's own words "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;" Mark 16:15-17
